HOW WILL MY DONATION HELP?

All money raised will be used by Myasthenia Alliance Australia to continue the vital work of bringing awareness, providing advocacy, and supporting research for the Myasthenia community.

Think about the warm and fuzzy feeling you are going to receive for doing such a heart-warming and generous deed.

DO I HAVE TO BE A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST?

WHAT CAN I DONATE?

To join in the fun and help raise vital funds for Myasthenia Alliance Australia, you don’t need to be a professional artist. Simply create something that makes you smile. You can paint, draw, sculpt, design, write, photo, or create something uniquely you.

If you don’t feel particularly creative, you can also donate an item or a service towards the auction. Again, this could be a picture, a painting, jewellery, a car, a service you offer or anything in between.

If you are unsure if what you are creating or donating is worthwhile, simply contact our friendly team and we can confirm any details with you.

WHEN DO THE DONATIONS NEED TO BE IN BY?

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY ARTWORK OR ITEMS?

Myasthenia Alliance Australia is holding an online auction for the donated pieces. To submit your items all you need to do is to take a high-quality picture of it. Your mobile phone camera should be sufficient for this. Then simply email the photo or photos to treasurer@mgaq.org.au.

Once we have approved your submission you will be able to see your item on our online auction page – https://airauctioneer.com/art-with-heart-auction-myasthenia-gravis. Also, keep an eye out on our social media pages too as there you will see your item promoted there too.

WILL I BE PAID FOR MY ARTWORK OR ITEM?

WHO WILL BUY MY ARTWORK OR ITEM?

HOW WILL THE HIGHEST BIDDER COLLECT MY ARTWORK OR ITEM?

All items donated to the Art with Heart Auction will be sent from you to the person with the highest bid.

If the person with the highest bid is in the same locality as you, then the highest bidder may collect the piece from a nominated collection point.

For items that must be posted, Myasthenia Alliance Australia will estimate the postage charges once the donated item is received and will note this estimate against the item. The person with the highest bid will be responsible for paying the postage.

Once the Auction is finalised Myasthenia Alliance Australia will contact you to assist with posting your item.

WHO SETS HOW MUCH MY ARTWORK OR ITEM IS WORTH?

Myasthenia Alliance Australia and its associated committee members will determine a minimum bid price for your item.

If you feel that your artwork or item should be valued at a particular amount, then please be sure to let us know when you submit your piece.

This minimum bid price will not include the cost of posting your item from your location to the highest bidder’s location.

The postage costs will be the responsibility of the highest bidder.
